Bridger's Home!

One of Matt's best friends, Bridger Hodges, just returned home from his mission
in Frankfort, Germany.  It was so good to see him again.  I love seeing these
boys after their missions, they have all grown so much.  I firmly believe
that a mission is not only to serve other people and to share the gospel
of Jesus Christ but it is also a time for the missionary to grow and progress
in their testimony and in the process, learn a lot about themselves.
What a great bunch of kids, I love them all!

Moab - Spring Break 2013

For Spring Break this year, Wynn and I went to Moab.
It felt so nice to just escape and to be together.
The weather was beautiful and we enjoyed the sun so much.
We left on Tuesday and came home on Friday.
Wynn's ward had a closing social on Friday night that
we came home for.

We just rode and played on the RZ for a couple of days.

We love Moab and the beauty there.

Easter Sunday

I just wanted to share some photo's I took on Easter Sunday.

I went to church up at BYU-I with Wynn and enjoyed it so much.
Wynn taught the priesthood/Relief Society combined and then
he also talked in Sacrament Meeting.
He did such a great job, glad I could go and enjoy this
day with him.

My Mom went to California for the blessing of one of her
Great grandson's.  I was so happy she could go but
we sure missed having her here for EAster.

We had the traditional ham and potatoes for dinner and it
was delicious.
I made two Lemon Sour Cream pies and they didn't go
over very well.  I guess my family just isn't too fond of Lemon.
I thought it was good but I had tons of it left over.

We had an Easter Egg hunt and the  kids had a ball.
Oh, don't I have the cutest grand babies?
I just love them all.

HAPPY SPRING!
(If it ever gets here)

Celebrating Nat's birthday. . .

We celebrated Natalie's birthday last night.
She is going to be gone to Utah on  her birthday so
we choose to celebrate just a bit early.

We had yummy sweet and sour meat balls and
ice cream cones for desert.  (So Natalie)

Our whole family was there but I didn't
get pictures soon enough, Sam, Hailey
and Jenna had already gone home.

 Emily and Natalie
 Almost our whole family!
Not too sure I'm loving using my phone for pictures. . .
The eyes are not looking too well.

We love you Natalie.  We wish you the
best birthday ever!

Activity Day

Yesterday was our Activity Day for these cute girls!
We went to the Idaho Falls Visitor's Center.
What a treat and it was so easy!

As we walked in we were greeted so warmly and I
immediately felt the spirit.

The sister missionary showed us the beautiful paintings
on display there and the girls were just so reverent.
I think they felt what I was feeling.

We enjoyed a beautiful movie on the
importance of families.
It was so neat and the girls enjoyed it so.
Such a fun, easy activity.

(I still think my calling is the best kept secret)

P.S.  We even had two non members there with friends.
Oh, I love my calling!

Rexburg Temple

Matt has been getting back into taking pictures again.
I love it!
Here's a recent photo he took of the Rexburg Temple.
Isn't it just beautiful?
He has a real eye for this kind of stuff.

Sun Valley

This past week end, we got to go to SunValley and enjoy
some family time together.  Sam did all the planning and  we had
so much fun.  Thanks Sam, for a fun filled week end.

We left Friday afternoon and picked Sam up out at work.
We then had dinner in Arco and then headed off to
Sun Valley.

We had a nice relaxing evening just playing games and
hanging out.

Our Condo was so nice and so comfortable!

We got up Saturday morning and  hit the slopes!

I loved being on top of the mountain and seeing the valley below, just beautiful!

Felt like we could see forever!

Notice how there is Zero snow in the Valley!
Our only group picture and Wynn is taking it so he isn't in it.  We are also missing Hailey and Jenna.
Hailey stayed behind and didn't ski but spent the day with Jenna.  She made us lunch and met us at the base.  I felt kind of bad that she stayed behind but so glad she came.  Sometimes it is so hard to take a baby and do things but Hailey and Jenna were both troopers this trip.
As you can see, very little snow!  Totally Spring skiing.
A picture taken from the top floor of our condo, looking down.
Yup, we really saw Arnold Schwarzenegger.  He is in the green coat.  Didn't see him on the hill but we did see him getting on the lift.  Kind of exciting!
A picture from the base where we had lunch.
Our little Jenna being so cute. . .
We came home the scenic route on Sunday and Matt took these pictures, just had to share.
Such a fun week end, I loved it.
