Moab : Spring Break 2014

This year we went to Moab with Kaylynn, Loran and their son Riley.
Riley will graduate this year and then off on a mission.
Kind of a last hurrah. . .
We  had a ball!

FHE

FHE at Bishop Monks.
So fun. . .
Spaghetti, salad, garlic toast and dessert.
Hope they liked it.

Wedding Quilt

Here is the quilt I made for Matt and Kayla for
their wedding present.
Hope they like it.

Jenna

Our sweet little Jenna.
She looks sad but she really wasn't.
I have a hard time capturing her sweet, smiling face.

Our visit to Vegas Baby. . .

In March Wynn and I visited Las Vegas to meet Kayla's
family and to visit Matt.
It was so fun seeing him and visiting where  he is working.
He loved showing us around and we loved seeing all the
sights.
He seemed so happy and content.
It felt good.

The container Park in downtown Las Vegas.

Dinner with the love birds.

I got to go to Kayla's Bridal shower hosted by her sisters.
It was so fun meeting all her family and meeting her
friends.

What an awesome family she has.
So blessed. . .

Saturday Fun. . .

A few weeks ago, Natalie and I watched Jenna and made a quilt.
It was such a fun day.

Natalie made this quilt for a special friend of hers who
is having a baby girl really soon.
I helped a little but Nat did it mostly by herself.
She did such a good job.
No doubt, she can make her next one without me.  :(

Activity Day

Daddy, Dinner, Daughter
Mustache Bash

I feel so lucky that I get to be an Activity Day
leader in our ward.  It is the best calling
in the church.

This year the girls choose to have
a date night with their Dad's.

Boy, did we have fun!

The girls had their picture taken with
their Dad's and the Dad's had to
find the picture of his daughter
with a mustache.

We ate spaghetti. . .

 We played Twister. . .

 We played:
Shave
Braid and
Blow. . .

We then had a yummy dessert to end our
evening together.

Hopefully we made some lasting memories!
