Happy Birthday Jana!

December 17th, 2014
Today we got together for lunch at Leo's to celebrate Jana's birthday.
Hailey and Jenna got in last night from Texas and so
they got to join us today.
So fun to celebrate Jana's birthday.
Sometimes those December birthday's go unnoticed.
Thanks Sarah for getting us all together.
Your Mom deserves it. . .

Closing Social

On Monday, Dec. 15th, we attended Wynn's ward closing social.

Br. Dutson (2nd cous.)  Bishop Monk ,  Br. Mortensen (1st cous.)
Ready to party!
After dinner, the kids decorated gingerbread  houses.
They had so much fun!

Br. Dutson with his newly returned missionary son.

Busy Sunday. . .

On Sunday, Dec. 14th, Brooke and I got together to make our
carmel, chocolate dipped pretzels to give as neighbor gifts.

We ate Clam chowder and then got to work.

Steven getting a rare snuggle from Tyson.
 The kids got banana splits!

 Emily's birthday isn't until the 21st but I thought
today was a perfect day to give her our gift.
We gave her a Spirograph.   I thought her and Steve could
do that while Brooke and I were busy in the kitchen.

 It worked!
They were busy all afternoon!
I think they both liked it!

Tonight, Natalie came home.
We picked her up at the bus stop at 7:00.
She flew from Portland to Salt Lake
and the took the bus to Idaho Falls.
Glad she is home and safe.

Emily's Friend B'day Party

Brooke  hosted a darling birthday party for our Emily. . . .
I went out and helped out!
Each guest got her nails done.
 My Pretty Pony b'day cake!
 Ready to do the PiƱata!

 Friends getting the B'day favors!
 Emily and Maddie
 She got such nice gifts.
Her friends were so generous!
 Emily and her friends!
Brooke had Emily blow out a lighter because the "7" candle was missing.

The "7" birthday candle was found!

Such a fun party.
Lucky Emily!

We love our Em's.

Christmas Activity Day

For our Christmas Activity Day party, I made the girls
these snowmen.
Aren't they just so cute?

 We made melty bead ornaments.

This is when I gave the girls there Magic Pillowcases.

Oh, I just love my calling!

Last FHE group

This was the last FHE group for the Fall semester.
What a fun group of kids.
We love you guys. . .

Salt Lake City

I didn't have school  on Friday, Dec. 5th so Wynn and I took
off for a little R.R.

We drove to Salt Lake City to visit the Temple grounds.
Of my, there were so many people there Friday night.
But, I never go weary of visiting the temple grounds.
It must be the spirit that I feel there because I always
want to go back.

We went back to temple square on Saturday morning.
We got to do a session in the Salt Lake City temple.
There wasn't hardly anyone on the temple grounds.
We walked around a bit and enjoyed the beautiful
grounds even if they weren't lit up.
So happy we could go visit the temple.
What a blessing the temple is in our lives.
I love going and remembering the covenents
that I have made there.

I love my eternal companion!
Blessed that we can be together forever
and that our family will be there with us.

Blessed in so many ways!
