Backyard play. . .

Today Emily and Camden came to play while their Mom went to
a Dr. appt.

We had such great fun!
I wanted to share these cute photo's. . .

I just love these two.
I hope they stay best friends forever.

They're home!

Today we attended yet another one of Matt's buddies mission home coming.
It is always so fun to go and see how each of these young men have grown
in stature and spirituality.
Welcome home Blake Britton!

Some of these guys are down in Provo for the summer and some around  here.
They all came home for the week-end and so we got to have a house
full of boys once again.  It felt so good to see them all here and all their
shoes piled in my entry way.  They can eat a lot of popcorn.
How I miss seeing them all the time.
It just felt so good!

It's a BOY!!!

Friday, August 23rd, 2013
Friday was a big day for our family.
We gathered together and enjoyed a BBQ.
Brooke brought dessert and it would reveal
the gender of their new baby.
We were all so excited. . . .
Emily did such a good job keeping the secret.
We all tried to get it out of her but Nope, her lips were sealed.

It's a BOY and we couldn't be more happy!
Just had to share these pictures of our little Jenna.
See loves watermelon.  Can you tell?
Don't those little eyes just melt your heart?
Steve with his family and one more on the way!  :)
Sam with his little family.
Wynn's Dad and stepmom.
Le and Erma Monk.
What sweet, sweet people.
Glad I'm part of their family.
My sweet Mom.
P.S.  It's almost her birthday!  Yay!
My dear Aunt Pat with Camden on her lap and Brooke trying
to get him to smile.

Getting it done!

Last week Matt came home for a few days and got some of my "to do's" totally
checked off my list.  That makes me so happy!
Tuesday morning I left for Utah with Kris and Matt stayed home
and painted my hall and entry way.
Boy, what a job!  That is a lot of doors and a lot of trim work.
He did an amazing job and best of all,
IT"S DONE!

It's so nice when they will work for food!

mission pictures

I have been so excited to be able to finally post pictures of these final projects!

When each one of our children returned home from their missions, I made
them each a mission picture to go on our family wall downstairs.

Some of them are better than others.  My sister-in-law, Charissa, made
Natalie's and it is by far the best one.  But someday, I hope, each
child will cherish their mission pictures.

I have been working on Matt's for a long time and I finally finished it tonight.
So, I finally get to post this post!  Yay!!!!!!

Feels so good to have them all finished and hung on my wall.

Martin Harris Pageant

Last night we got to go to Clarkston, Ut and attend the Martin Harris pageant.
Wynn rented a 14 passenger van from the college and drove it there.
We traveled in style!  So fun when we can travel all together.
No many students from his ward went.  Everyone works.  There
really isn't too many kids here for the summer.

But, we got to enjoy the pageant and being with these fun kids.
We got home so late, but we had so much fun.

Blessed once again!

Mt. Heyburn/Redfish

Sam and Hailey went to Redfish Lake with Hailey's family.
I just wanted to share some of their photo's.
Looks like they had tons of fun!

Haley with Jenna and her cousin Kimmy.
Such cute little girls!
This is Sam after reaching the summit of Mt. Heyburn.
I submitted this photo to the Post Register and
they put it in the paper!
He hiked with Brent, Grayden, and Jessica Howard.
So glad he has great in-laws!
We are blessed again. . .

California!

On August 1st - 9th we got to go to California to tour Matt's mission.
What an experience that was!  We had so much fun.  Just Wynn, Matt and I went.
I felt bad that Natalie couldn't go and we missed her tons.

When I loaded my pictures onto this blog, they went in all mixed up order because
these were taken on many different camera's and I'm sure the computer put them
in numeric order.  But, they are totally out of order from our vacation.

We had so much fun visiting each of Matt's area's from his mission and meeting
people he taught and people from the wards there.  We loved that Matt
drove the whole way and he knew where to go and how to drive in
the horrible California trafic.  He was awesome and did a remarkable job!

We felt so blessed to go and meet people that Matt taught and influenced
on his mission.  Matt was an amazing missionary and we heard it
so many times from the folks we meet.  What an experience!
I loved every minute of it.

I feel so blessed!

Matt lived here for the 1st area of his mission.
We got to tour this home and see all the antiques Br. Sear
has collected over the years.
Simply amazing!
Looking over the valley!

We toured the Firestone Winery just out side of Solvang.
So interesting!  We didn't drink any wine but I brought  home an empty bottle!
