Vegas

 Natalie came home for a visit before she starts her new job in a couple of weeks.

We went to Vegas to visit Matt, Kayla and little Elle.  It has been over a year

since Natalie has seen these guys.  So, off we went.  We left Thursday night

and stayed in Utah and then on Friday morning, we got to go to the

New Provo City Center Temple.  

It was just simply beautiful!  

How blessed we were to be in the house of the Lord. 

I'm counting my blessings.  

Little Elle was so much fun!  She just has so much personality.

She warms my heart.  She is so much fun and such a good baby.

I really should of got a photo of all of us together.  

We drove there on Friday and on Saturday we went shopping and just

hung out.  Saturday night, Matt & Natalie went to the 

Stratosphere and did the rides there.  It was fun that they got

to spend some time together.  On Sunday, we went to church.

Kayla taught R.S. and she also got a new calling.  She is now

the YW camp leader for next year.  So fun going to their ward.

Such good kids, we are so proud of them.  

On Sunday evening, we went to the Las Vegas temple and just walked 

around and enjoyed the beautiful, peaceful feeling we had there.

Labor Day week-end

We went camping over Labor Day week-end.

It felt so weird because Wynn and I left on Thursday.

Yup, I didn't have to go to work and so it  opens up a whole

new world.  I love not having go to work and having free time

to spend with my family.  It just felt good leaving early and not

having to get a sub.  I think I'm gonna like this not working life!  

Steve, Brooke and the kids met up with us after the kids got out

of school.  The weather wasn't the best but we had a great time.

So fun to be out in the wild enjoying my family.  

Mom's B'day/Riley is home!

August 31st was a special day.

We got to celebrate my Mom's 84th B'day

and welcome Elder Riley Kinghorn Home.

I had a hard time trying to figure out something special for my Mom's

B'day.  I asked her what she wanted and she said just to get her

a card.  So, I made her a special card and this fun

candy bar poster.  I hope it was enough to make her

feel special.  I just love my Mom, I don't know what I would

do without her.  She is my best friend and we visit almost

everyday on the phone.  She is just simply the best.

I love you Mom!  

After celebrating Mom's b'day, we went to the airport and welcomed

Elder Riley Kinghorn home.  Something about a missionary straight from

the field that just warms my heart.  We just love this kid and we are so 

proud of him.  

Camping with Mike & Karen

On the week-end of Aug. 25th, Wynn and I went camping with

Mike & Karen up by Cave Falls.  Mike & Karen haven't been

home too long from their mission and so it was fun just to 

be with them and get caught up.  We had a beautiful camp site

and we truly enjoyed ourselves.

We went to some beautiful falls and we enjoyed

riding the RZR.  

We had a great week-end!

On Friday night, we went to the Mack's Inn Theater.

We loved it!  

Together again

We got together with Wynn's old Bishopric

from BUY-I and had a BBQ.  It was so fun

to see everyone and get caught up.

We just love these guys, such good friends.

Zoo & Monument hike

On Saturday, Aug. 20th, Wynn & I went to the zoo with

these crazy kiddo's.

We loved spending the morning with these guys.

They are always so much fun to be with.

They just love life and have so much energy.

We simply love them!

After the zoo, Wynn and I took off and headed for the mountains.

We did the Monument hike.  

So nice just to get out and get some exercise.

The best part was the scenery, it was simply beautiful!
