Emily is 7!

This very day is Emily's birthday.
I can't believe she is 7 years old.
It seems like just yesterday we were
hold that sweet little girl in our arms.
Just look at her now, so sweet,
confident and fun loving!

For some reason, we had donuts for Em's birthday.

 Emily blowing out her candle.
Just look at that sweet face!
I just love that little girl. . .
 Jenna, Emily and Kimmy
Kimmy is Jenna's cousin on Hailey's side of the family.
 Aunt Pat enjoying these kids!
Opening presents, the best part of a birthday.  Right?
Books from Aunt Hailey, Uncle Sam and Jenna.

WE love you Emily.
So glad you are part of our family.
Hope next year is as good as this one has been!

Christmas at the Lodge!

This year, we were hosting the Monk Family Christmas Party
at the Lodge.

We had Sandwich Tree sandwiches and everyone brought a salad, chips or
desserts.  It was great!  Glad our turn is over for the next 5 years!

 Emily and Camden
 We honored Grandpa Le.
Each of  his kids stood and shared some of their
favorite memories of their Dad.
Wynn did such a great job.
He took a block of wood and had his Dad
demonstrate how he hammered nails
with his forehead.
So cute!!!

We had a book exchange for the kids!
Musical book walk.

The adults did a re-gift exchange.
It was pretty fun.

We even all sang happy birthday to Miss Emily.
We gave Le a yard of Twix.
What else do you give a chocolate loving Grandpa?
We have Erma dish towels to embroidery.

Good food, good company and a great time!
Merry Christmas Everyone. . .

While Mom & Dad are away. . .

On December 18th, it was Steven and Brooke's 10th wedding anniversary.
We got to keep the kids over night while they had a whole day to
themselves.  We had so much fun.
Hailey and Jenna even came and joined in on our fun.
Nat and the kids made cookies!
Oh my, it is so fun to hang out with Aunt Nat, she makes
everything so much more fun!

Jenna and Grandpa hung out in the basement playing trains.
Jenna wasn't into the cookie making so much but she loved
the trains!

Grandpa is always so much fun too!

Who knew you can have so much fun with a box?

So  nice having the house full of kiddo's!
We just love all our grand babies!

Burger King

On Thursday, Dec. 18th, I met Brooke, Hailey and Natalie
at Burger King for lunch.
I didn't get many pictures but I did capture Jenna loving on Tyson.

 Tyson was so sweet.
He loved playing in the little part of the play place.

Oh, how I love being with our little Jenna.
We have missed her tremendously!

School Sing-a-long

We had the best school wide sing-a-long on Thursday, Dec. 18th.
We have the best principal.  She is the tree in these pictures.
So fun. . .

Myself with my co-worker, Janice Nielson.
(We have so much fun)
 Miss Kronki leading the singing.
She is awesome, the kids loved singing with her.
Janice, Julie, Santa, Me, and Karadean
I just love these guys!
They make going to work each day enjoyable!
