Blacktail with Kinghorns

Today we went to Blacktail with Kaylynn &Loren Kinghorn.

What a fun day in the sun we had!

Emily came with us, Steven wasn't feeling well and so the rest of

his family stayed home.

Wynn wished we would of taken Camden but it was nice just

having our Em's for some quality time.

Emily loved the "Beach" and played and played in the mud.

It was a beautiful day and great day for boating.

 Emily even got on the tube with Grandpa.

She wasn't too sure about it but she even did a thumbs up for

Loren to go faster.  

 Sam, Hailey and Jenna joined us after Jenna's nap.

Jenna loves the water too.

No fear in that little body of hers.

 Jenna didn't like wearing the life jacket but sometimes you have to do things you don't like.

Emily got really good at holding the flag up when someone was in the water.

Another swim day at my house.

I'm loving this HOT weather and I LOVE it when

the grandkids come to play.  

All three of them today!

Hailey, Brooke, and I visit while the kids have a ball.  

I just love summer.

Movie and Popcorn on the deck. . .

Camden and Emily got to spend the night at Grandma & Grandpa's house!

We watched "Despicable Me" outside on the deck.

Of course, it wouldn't be a movie without popcorn, (again).

We had a ball playing with these darling little kids.

So glad we live close enough that we can take them

once in a while.  

Emily sat at the table and drew through most of the movie.

She is really quit the artist.  

She was drawing a peacock and when she was through, it looked just like one.

What darling grandkids we have.

I love them all. . . .

Lime Rickey's and Popcorn

Brooke, Camden, Emily, and her friend Maddy came for a swim

at my house.  We had so much fun!  I served lime Rickey's and Popcorn.

I think the kids were pretty happy about that.

Rexburg Splash Park

Today I got to go to the Rexburg Splash Park

with both of my daughter-in-laws, my darling grandkids, and

Donalee and her cuties!

What a fun day!

I love that I got to spend the afternoon with people I love.

A little over cast but a perfect day to play in the water.

 Jenna was not too sure at first what she was suppose to do.

 She figured it out real fast. . .

 Jenna wanted to explore and that she did.

Oh, she is the sweetest little girl.

Whirley Pop

On Saturday, July 13th, Wynn told me he wanted to go buy me

a surprise.  I said, "Yah, sure, if you want to buy me a surprise, it's

probably something YOU want."

Well, later on that day, here he came in with a surprise,

A whirled Pop for ME, not for him.

He knows how much I LOVE popcorn and he

knew I'd love this gift.

I guess the guys at work were telling him about this popcorn maker and told

him how good the popcorn was.  The guys, who are also engineers, said that

they even figured out how much $ they could save buy NOT buying

microwave popcorn.  Sounds like a engineer hun?

We got a new microwave about a 1 and a half years ago and our new

one just doesn't pop popcorn very well.  I've really missed "good"

popcorn.

So, it really was so nice of Wynn to surprise me and I think he really was

thinking of me because he really doesn't like popcorn that much.

It just so happened that Matt was home over the weekend for two of his

buddies mission homecoming and they were hanging out at our 

house Saturday night.  Well, guess what they got. . . 

You got it,

POPCORN!

39th ward closing social

Tonight was the closing social up in Rexburg for Wynn's ward.

We had so  much fun!  It's just fun to be around these young kids.

I guess it makes me feel young again.  :)

 We started off by having a hot dog eating contest.

After the Hot Dog eating, the rest of us ate pizza.

 Then, we had a watermelon eating contest.

This was a little bit more fun to watch and more people

participated I think.
