Cress Creak

On Sunday, July 24th, after church,
Wynn and I went and hiked Cress Creek.
It was so beautiful and so nice just to get out of Dodge.
I just love this man of mine, he completes me.
We are blessed to have each other.
Together Forever!
These are from my wild flower garden
in my backyard.
I can't grow a garden but I can grow wild flowers.

kids, kids and more kids.....

On July 16th, I got to babysit Nora.
Sam & Hailey were here and Sam had gone biking with Steve
and Hailey wanted to go on an outing with her family
that was not Nora friendly.  Jenna got to go but Nora
got to stay with Grandma.  Oh, she is a sweet little baby.
It took her some time to get used to me but she finally
did.  I loved rocking her out on the deck and singing
sweet songs to her.  Reminded me of the old days.
So glad I got some one on one with with
our sweet Nora.

Day 1
Sunday morning, July 17th, Emily 8, Camden 5, & Tyson 2 came
to stay with for a week while their parents went to
New Orleans on a business trip.
I couldn't wait for a week of FUN!
Sunday, we attended church in Mike & Karen's ward.
They reported there mission.  They served in
San Diego and had a wonderful time.
I loved hearing their sweet testimonies.
Touched my heart totally and completely.
When I grow up, I want to be just like them!  :)
We went to their home after and had Lasagna.
So yummy!
Sam & Hailey got to go with us and that was so much fun.
After, we came to our house and of course, the kids
had popsicles outside.
They ate the whole box. They were popsicle mini's
and I tell you, they were little.
Such cuties!
I love them all so much.
Counting my blessings.

Day 2
We started our day by going to the school and playing on the
toys while it was still cool outside.
I jogged while the kids played.
It's called multi-tasking!

We then played all afternoon in the pool in the backyard.
It was a blast!

Day 3
Went to the library.
We went to story time and then each kids got
to check out 5 books.
Oh, they had lots of fun just looking
at all those books!

We then came home and went swimming!
Just had to share some of my plants on my deck!

A swim party isn't complete without a tea party!

My friend, Sherlene, even came over
and read Tyson everyone of his library books.
Nothing like good friends!
We then went to Rigby to Emily's gym class
(which I didn't get any photo's of)
and Camden's soccer game.
It was so hot, I don't think anyone wanted to play soccer.

Day 4
Bear World
We loved it!
I drove and Emily was the picture taker.
She did awesome.  Oh my, so many bears, dear, antelope &
bison.

WE came home and went swimming again.
It is so hot!

Day 5
Lava Hot Springs
Sam, Hailey, Jenna, and Nora joined us on
this adventure.
It was such a fun day!
It was a good hot summer day.
Perfect for swimming.
Lava is such a great place to go,
we loved it!

On our way home, we stopped out to
Hailey's Mom & Dad's to say
good-bye to the kids.
I always hate good-byes.  But, they
now live close enough that we can go see them
We'll go this fall and spend some time with them.

This was such a good photo of our little Tyson.
He is just the cutest!

Day 6
Today we were suppose to go floating up
at Island Park but the kids are watered out!
We decided to stay in town and do something
around here that didn't involve water.  The
day before, we were at Lava ALL day long.
I so understand this!

so.......
we traced the kids! They made themselves.

Then, we headed to Leo's for lunch, play, and
games.  The kids love that place!

We then went to the  movies, we saw,
"The secret life of pets"
in 3D
It was so much fun.
Boy, I love these kids.
They are so good and they just warm
my heart.
Just look at those faces......

Emily ready for bed.
She looks so comfy.....

Day 7
Steven & Brooke got home today after
a long, long flight and lots of waiting.
The kids were so excited to see them.
We're going to miss them so much.
I feel so blessed to be able to take
the kids and care for them.
What a fun time we had.
I know why you have kids when you  are young.
They are a lot of work and I wouldn't
have it any other way.

Brooke brought Emily and I masks home.
(I just love this girl!)
