Watching Jenna

Sam came today and started putting in a new automatic sprinkling system.
Our old one just isn't cutting it.
So grateful for a good son who takes care of his parents.
He's a gem.

So, I got to see Jenna today.
She is almost walking but not yet.
She pulls herself up and stands alone.
Tomorrow is her 1st birthday and I don't
think she will be walking.
She can get around really smoothly doing the
crawl and scooting.

Playing Peek-a-boo!
We love you our little Jenna Juliet!

Father's Day 2013

So happy that all our family could be together for Father's Day this year.
We had a BBQ and enjoyed the beautiful weather.
Wynn with two of his three boys!
Sam and Steven
 Our beautiful daughter, Natalie.
 No comment. . .
 Matt
I love this picture of Wynn with all his kids.
Fitting for Father's Day.
 Emily and Camden playing.
 We played the "unwrap" game.
A trial run to see if we want to do it for our family reunion in July.
It was kind of fun.
You just keep unwrapping and you get to keep the treats.
Just keep going until the next person throws doubles with the dice.
Lots and lots of candy!

My beautiful Mother and my Aunt Pat.
Sam, Hailey, and Jenna came too, I was just too late and
didn't get any pictures.
Grandpa Monk was sick so he and Erma weren't there.
We missed them and honoring Grandpa Le on this
special day.

 Smiling for the camera.
That Cam is such a ham!
Emily not too sure she wants her picture taken.

What a wonderful day we got to spend together.
I'm so thankful for my wonderful husband who
is the father of our four children.
He has always been the best Dad in the world
and a wonderful husband.
I count my blessings each and every day and
my wonderful husband is always first on the list.
So thankful for a worthy priesthood holder in our home.

Jenna's 1st birthday party!

I can't believe Jenna is one year old!
Actually she will turn one on the 18th of June but
her party was on Saturday the 15th of June.
Here she is eyeing her presents that where on the trailer.
See her cute skirt her Grandma make her.
I found the "It's my birthday" shirt and had to have it
so I could make her the birthday skirt.
Isn't she such a doll?

All the cousins were there and they had so much fun playing in Sam and Hailey's
beautiful back yard.
Here is Jenna in the rocks! Just had to have a picture even if
her face is dirty.
Emily and Camden loved playing on the trailer and wondering what all the presents
might be.
 Lighting the birthday cake.
 Eating the birthday cake with
Hailey and Sam.
 Eating the birthday cake.
 Time for presents!
I have never seen so many presents for a one year old!
I think she is loved!
In her new camp chair for G. and G. Monk
Her new doll from Uncle Steve, Aunt Brooke, Emily, and Camden.
Sometimes the paper is more fun than the presents.
I think she likes her new doll.
 So much fun opening gifts.
 Circus tent from Aunt Natalie.
All the kids liked this gift.
 Escaping. . . .
 Climbing on Grandpa.
The Sam Monk family
including the latest addition. . .
Guster!

Activity Day girls and Cress Creak

Today was the best day ever!
I got to take the Activity Day Girls in our ward to
CRESS CREEK!
 We had so  much fun!
I gave the girls a list of items to find in nature.  I guess you would
call it a scavenger hunt.  I couldn't believe how fast they got the
items all checked off.
When they completed it, they got bubbles.

It was just beautiful as you can see.
We enjoyed our lunch and visiting with each other.
It's amazing how much you can learn about these girls and their
families just by listening.
It got a little over cast and we even got sprinkled on a bit.
Not too hot that's for sure.
Such a nice hike, not too hard and not too easy.

 Samantha Mayes
 Whitney Jackson
 Livy Perkins
 Pearl Foote
 Emilia Prestigiacomo
 Jenna Winn
 Mandy Murray
Something about riding in the car with these girls just warms my heart.
They wanted to listen to the country station on the radio.
They all sang at the top of their lungs along with the radio to
"I'm stuck like glue."
It was so cute.  I just love these girls.  It just gives me hope.  I've always
loved working with the YW and these girls are no different.
Such a fun, fun day!

Monk Family Camp Out

Saturday, June 8th, 2013
Yesterday we went up to Island Park to spend some time
with the Monk side of our family.  We were suppose to camp
but just too much going on.  With Wynn just having surgery, we
felt it might be hard for him to sleep in the tent trailer.

We got to spend the day with
 OUR FAMILY!

Jenna is peeking out of the back pack.
Getting ready for a nice walk and a nap!
Jenna loved crawling all around and exploring!
Brooke and Hailey getting some visiting in.
Just 10 days until Jenna turns two and she can stand all alone if she wants to.
Here's proof!
We played the funnest game. . .
Jerrica prepared it.
It was a bunch of wrapping tape with the prizes rolled up in it.
You got to unroll and keep all the prizes until the next
person rolled doubles with a dice.
Just sad that Steve and Brooke had already left when we played this game.
(We played it later in the evening)
 Natalie and Matt
 Enjoying the campfire.
 Grandma and Grandpa Monk
 Natalie and Matt
Jerrica's Matt sporting his new glasses!
Grandma and Grandpa Monk with SOME of their
Great Grandkids.
Carter, Adyson, Kensley, Hazel, Mercedes and Ella
 Leslie with Carter and Hazel.
 Matt, me, Wynn and Natalie
All my kids and their families were there except for Sam.
Hailey was there but not Sam.
We missed you Sam!

 Matt and Grandma Erma.
Wynn took Camden and Emily on a Razor ride and he got the cutest pictures.
I feel so blessed, we  have the cutest Grandkids in the world.
Wynn with two of our three grandkids and it will soon be four!
so exciting. . . .
