Well, they're gone. . .

This past week has been so busy. . .

Sam and Hailey sold their house.
We got it all cleaned out. . .

Tuesday
 But not without some fun!

Wednesday
It just broke my heart to pull up in front
of their house and to see the U-haul truck.

One last picture of the kids at their house.

 Farewell dinner
Emily, Natalie, and Camden
 The crew!

The plan. . .
Sam & Hailey will leave for Texas tomorrow morning,
Thursday, May 22, 2014.
Jenna will stay with us and then
we will fly with her to Texas on Saturday.
A long drive for Sam and Hailey.
Thursday, they drove 700 miles.
Friday the drove 853 miles.
Tomorrow, Saturday, they will just have
100 miles to go.
We will arrive in Texas late Saturday night.

 Playing with Superman!
 Reading stories with Aunt Natalie.

Thursday
Natalie took the morning off and watch Jenna while I went to work.
Brooke brought Camden and Tyson over at about 11:00
for Nat to watch too so she could do Emily's field day.
Boy, what a day!
I came home at 12:30 and Nat went to work.
 Our sweet Ty baby!

 Friday
This morning, Wynn went out to Steven's to help him put a
new furniss in.  So, Brooke had Jenna this morning.
I went out when I got off work and got her.
What a pleasant day relaxing and playing with the kids.

 Jenna loved this little car.
Camden was such a good sharer.
Is that a word?

This afternoon, I took Jenna to her other Grandma's so they
could spend some time with her.
She came home tired and ready for bed.
After a bath and a cup of milk, she is down for the night.
What a darling little one.
We sure are going to miss that little one.

Activity Day. . .

Just had to share this cute picture of our
Activity Day Girls.
We meet last Wednesday and make mini pizzas
out of Grands rolls. It was a blast!
We then had our ward YW president come
talk to the girls about the YW program.
Such a good activity!
We said good-bye to Samantha and
welcomed Olivia.
(I love my calling!)

Mother's Day 2014

This year was a little different Mother's Day.
I didn't feel good.  This was day 4 of not
feeling good and I was so sick of it!

Thank goodness for a good daughter and
good daughter-in-laws!

I bought pizza on Saturday and we took it
out to Steven and Brooke's for dinner.

So relaxing, I did absolutely nothing!

Natalie and I did go visit my Mom before going to
Steven and Brookes and then Wynn just meet
us there after he got out of church.

We enjoyed good food, a wonderful dessert and most of
all the grandkids!

They are such funny little kids.
They went downstairs and up Jenna and Camdon
come wearing these plastic pants.
We laughed and laughed.
Such cute little ones.

I am so thankful for my Mother and all she does for me and my
family.  She is everything to me.  She is my best friend and try to
talk to her daily.
I'm also thankful for such wonderful daughter-in-laws.
My son's scored when they got their wives.
We are blessed in so many ways.
I acknowledge these blessings each and
everyday.

Jenna's 2nd birthday. . .

I can't believe our little Jenna will be 2 very soon.
Her birthday is really June 18th, but due to them
moving to Texas, we decided to have a celebration
before they left.
Oh my, she is such a cutie!

I have never seen such cute kids have so much fun before!
Everyone loved to blow those candles out.
I bet I lit them 50 times.
You really couldn't tell whose birthday it really was.
Everyone had a ball blowing out those candles.
Jenna would blow her candles out and them
clap and cheer, oh, warmed my heart.

We love you Jenna Juliet.  You have brought so much
love into our family.  I love watching your parents parent you.
What joy you bring them.  It is so evident that you
were meant to be their child.
May you have many more birthdays and may
you always be this happy.
Love,
Grandma Monk

Lucky Saturday. . .

Wynn and I got to watch the kids on Saturday evening.
We worked hard all day on getting a room cleaned
out for Natalie to move into and we totally
needed a break.
Watching the kids always warms my heart.

Tyson in the jumper for the first time.
4 months old exactly!
Don't those eyes just melt your heart?
They do mine!

Camden crawled up into the high chair.
I couldn't resist taking his picture.
We took the kids to Reed's Dairy.
They loved looking at all the new baby animals.

We really did have ice cream but I didn't
get any pictures.

So blessed to have these darling little kids in our lives.
I love them totally and completely.
