Moab - Fall 2016 (Oct. 5th - 9th)

We got to go to Moab again this fall!
Kaylynn and Loran Kinghorn went with us.
We left Wednesday morning and drove all the
way there.  We got there when it was so dark.  I don't really
know why it was so dark but it was really dark.  The moon wasn't
out and the stars were  not out.  So, we pulled onto the Mill
Canyon Road.  We stopped at the trail head and camped
for the night.  Kay and Loren stopped in Wellington and camped.
They got away a couple of hours after us.

On Thursday morning, Wynn found us a wonderful place
to camp.  We took the trailer there and the adventure
began.  The weather was perfect and I loved having
a bathroom, shower and a place to cook and most
of all, a fridge!  Trailer camping is the best!

 Day #1
Thursday

 Uranium Arch

 Day #2
Klondike trail

Real dinosaur tracks

Day #3
Top of the World
trail

Just a minor trouble on the trail.
Thank goodness for jumper cables!

It was a horrible trip to the top but the view was fantastic.
Pretty scary going to the edge to see over.
Hence, Loran laying on his tummy.

There was this guy at the top of the trail.  I couldn't believe
he rode his bike to the top.  The trail was so rocky
and strait up.  I bet it was a grunt to get there but he sure
was happy and willing to let me take his picture.
He even took our picture.

Elle

Just look at this darling little girl!
She is the apple of my eye.
We are blessed that Matt & Kayla
share photo's of their little darling.

Conference Sunday

I love Conference!
I love that we can sit in our homes
and listen to a prophets voice.
It give me joy to feel of the sweet spirit
that renews my soul.

We were blessed by having some of our
Grandkids join us for Sunday afternoon
session.
There is just nothing like family and
I love mine the most!

Dirt, dirt and more dirt.....

Earlier this year, we had gone RZR riding and it was so dry, the
dirt was so deep!   On Oct. 1st, Wynn was getting the RZR ready
for Moab and he took off the skid plate on the bottom and
tons of dirt came out.  I mean there was a ton of fluffy, soft
dirt!

Rainbow

On September 29th when I was out for my run, I saw the most
beautiful rainbow.  I just had to share.
Gives me hope!

37 years!

On September 21, 2016, Wynn and I celebrated our 37th
Anniversary.  I can't believe it has been that long!  In
some ways the time has flown by and in other ways
it feels that long.

On Wednesday morning when I got up,
this is what was on my bathroom mirror.
(I hope you can read it!)

Later on in the day, these flowers were delivered to me.

I do feel so blessed!  Wynn is such a good husband.  He always
puts me and our kids first.  I lucked out when I got him.
He is such a blessing in my life.
Glad we are together forever!

Natalie was still here and so she made us dinner for our
anniversary.  I felt that was so nice of her, it really made
the day.   She made yummy soup and garlic bread. We
are truly blessed.

To celebrate our special day, we took off early Friday morning to head
to Star Valley to the temple open house.
Natalie left this day and so it was a little easier to have her
leave by leaving before her.

The clouds were just hanging in the sky.
Simply beautiful.

We loved touring the new Star Valley temple.  It is really small but
so beautiful.  I love the spirit that we felt there.

After the temple tour, we went to Jackson Hole and enjoyed lunch.
We then went over to Granite Hot Springs and soaked
our bones.  It was so relaxing and so fun.  There was just
a bit of a chill in the air that made it so enjoyable.

We had planned on going up to Pinedale and doing
a hike on Saturday.  The weather was rainy and cold.
We were afraid there would be snow in Pinedale.
We decide to just come home and  not fight the weather.

We did get a small hike in at Granite Hot Springs.  It was so
beautiful.  We truly do live in a beautiful part of the world.
